Art 3081 Intermediate Video Art
In Art 3081, we dedicated the entire semester to a group project where we were given the freedom to make an animation of any subject and story we wanted.
My group entailed 3 members including myself and we had decided on a story about a curious skeleton named Wick, whose goal is to find a candle for his pumpkin bindle. He stumbles upon an abandoned library that contains a sealed-away beast, guarded by a character called Protector to make sure it stays contained. Wick's focus on his pumpkin causes chaos in the city as he takes an important candle from the Protector.
My roles in the project were to be the planner. Planners prepare timelines and schedules; as well as organize and make sure the group is progressing as planned. I also did a lot of preproduction work such as character model sheets and some animation tests. I was also a rough animator for the final animation and colored a majority of the backgrounds. We all had a hand in doing clean up then everyone was able to color collectively.

Rough Animations
As a rough animator, I took charge in animating the first half of the animation, scenes 1-24.

Spark Page
As a way of showing our entire progress, we created a spark page that has more detail of our sketches, thought process, and more!
