ART 3080 Introductory Video Art
Montage
For our first project, we were able to make a montage about anything we would like. My project tells the story of a little girl being pushed on the swing by her father and as she swings memories with her father play in the background, after she gets off the swing we see that she is all grown up and her son asks her to push him.
Title Sequence
Our second major project consisted of making a title sequence based on a book. My title sequence is based on the thriller novel The Butterfly Garden by Dot Hutchinson where girls are taken by a man who calls himself "The Gardener". He tattoos realistic butterflies on their backs and keeps them almost like a butterfly display.

Stop Motion
Our final big project was a stop motion, we had no limitations on what it could be about or the materials used. We were also able to work in groups. My team members and I made a stop motion about three adventurers that come across a cute slime creature, at first hesitant of it and when they are about to leave it a bat attacks one of the adventurers. The slime turns into a bigger monster form and eats the bat, saving the adventurers. They decide to keep the little creature and named him Bebe.
